Sonny, I have read your DAC 1.0 document. I saw a preamp connector-J5, which means you are developing a preamp between DAC and Power Amp, right?
Would you please describe your preamp project, discrete or op-amp? with an analog R2R or IC type volume control?Balanced?...

You are right.

I have not decided yet if it is Discrete or opamp. I have an discrete opamp solution, and it cost the same as the opamp ADA4627-1. So it is the sound quality it depends on.

I also have an "discrete" R2R solution, but it is expensive to make, compared to an IC based solution. This two factors i have not decided on yet.

It will have single ended inputs, and 1 balanced input. 1 balanced output and 1 single ended output.
