For the mid and bass channels, it will be good to have at least 3-4000.

Thank you very much, I will wait for the information. I really like the product and once the final revision is ready I will probably buy it if has enough taps.
For example here is the amount of error for a high-pass LR4 @ 250Hz and 8192 taps.

As a heads-up, linear-phase FIR filters don't need delay correction and you could use far fewer taps in the crossover. Bonus: even FIRs with a relatively small number of taps have serious attenuation a couple of octaves past the -6dB point.

Hi, not sure if this has been asked, havent had time to go throught the 100 or so pages yet,is the following set-up achievable?

I have a 5.2 speaker setup.

PC(running Dirac Live, outputting multichannel PCM over USB) / Ultimate Preamp(used for X'overs, DAC, Volume control) / Amps?

Is there any bass management? Or would I still have to run subs through a miniDSP 2x4HD?

Whats the best way to order?

Regards,

Mitch

Edit....now that I’ve read most of it....realised it’s 2 channels in.

Are there plans for multi-channel in?.....Have been looking at the new exaSound e38....but this is much more versatile.

Currently looking into it. Will be more expensive though but offer much more than a simple DAC

cheers

Great news, I'm in Sydney if you need a beta tester! I'm not on FB so if you could update on here or PM that would be awesome.

Cheers
