Default Good news

I found a cheaper shipping option , they are affiliated with DHL eCommerce, shipping time is 1 to 2 months, currently updating the shipping fee on our website.

Will probably offer the first batch as partially assembled (but fully tested module) since we don't have the parts yet. ETA second week of October.

For the OPA i found 1656 a little "flat" too... LME49860 it's better, it's near 5532 but more "bodied" and musical.

You can found it on mouser or digikey but only in SOIC:

I already tried LME49720 DIP version on my V1.1 module and yes it is a real step up from NE5532, same liveliness but with better highs.

I bought some OPA1692IDR, I will try them next. I should have bought the LME49860 too, anyway I will buy them on my next order.

Hello
Currently I use the lme49720, an aop that I also use on a first version ucd180 (delivered at the time with a NE, note that Hypex then switched to the lme).
I tried the 49860, which I still have in dip8, without noticing any difference.
This week I'm going to try the (obsolete) lme49990 for fun.
Best regards
Roger

I test my OPA with ES9038Q2M Sabre DIY DAC directly driving Hifi Earbud "Toneking Nine-Tails" (truely hi-end IEM for a "lower price")

I can determine any difference with this method, with traditionnal speaker it's not possible.

First time to be disappointed with my Mouser order.

Inductors that were intended for my TPA3255 PFFB amp arrived with damages. All inductors were placed inside a bubble wrap bag which made them freely collide with each other.

Hope they can replace or refund them.

Here is the real problem.
"All inductors were placed inside a bubble wrap bag"
Bad very bad package for ferrite materials.
