T & M loudspeakers is new. We want to concentrate on making high quality cabinets from hardwoods. We use Oakwood and we also make some cabinets from MDF and marine ply, but our first priority is to use solid woods. T & M is based in Hong Kong so we work closely with Mark Audio. We use all Mark Audio drivers because the quality and performance is excellent. Twin Audio is our amp business. We match our amplifiers with Mark Audio drivers and also use some of the designs from Mark Audio plans.

We will offer both finished speakers and cabinets as kits. We can build to order. Send us your plan or email your details. We can help you with the build. We supply speakers to all major locations.

Regards,

Tony Wong.

This is a bass reflex bookshelf cabinet designed by Mark Fenlon.

Mark recommended to build it in 20 mm oakwood. The dimension of cabinet is 200W x 245D x 310H mm and the port size is 36 dia. x 108 mm long for Alpair 7. There is a good bass performance on Alpair 7 for this cabinet design.

This cabinet can also be applied to CHR-70.

This is a good example, one of my customer in Hong Kong tried to add Alpha Core Air-Core Inductor to CHR-70. From his experience, this AWG12, 0.27mH copper foil inductor can give great improvement to the performance of CHR-70 full range driver. Wider sound stage, better high range, sweeter mid range and deeper bass.

Tony, for the Baffle Step Correction, you can actually make different versions. For Desktop/Near Field/Close to wall placement, 3dB is usually adequate, but for free standing, say 1m from the rear wall, 6dB would be better.

BTW, where can I buy your speakers in Hong Kong? Are there any retailers? They look pretty awesome! How much's for a pair of CHR70 with piano black cabinet?

Hi Boris,

Thanks for your advice. I will try it out later.

You can buy the speakers at Rm. E, Flat C3, 7/F., Block C, Tuen Mun Industrial Centre, 2 San Ping Circuit, Tuen Mun, H.K.
The price of Till70 cabinets in piano black for CHR-70 is USD120/pair.

Thanks,
Tony.
