Steve - are you still around to repost these images?
Sorry,
I've now lost the images. Had a computer meltdown a few years ago, and Apple did away with iWeb hosting a long time ago now. Anything I had on there is now history. Not much I can do about it now as the amp itself is long ago dismantled.
I am sharing the ideas all the way here in the forum, however people almost always disagree with me ignoring my suggestions. Some even complain to moderators how I am wrong and how I offend them.
Here is the result of following them.
Edit: I posted the video to roughly offend those who refuse to learn.

Well; I am not good in giving specific directions. I prefer to explain basics, so people understand how to do that, and why. When I taught electronics, I used a trick, I was giving a task to somebody to calculate something, or to design some schematic, then said that I need to go away to wet the sponge. I was standing behind the door, listening to their collective attempt to solve the problem, and only after they get quiet entering the class.
Cool. I was a teacher too. Every teacher chooses what point to enter the stream. You’ve chosen to enter further down stream than I stand. I’ve never even taken basic electronics. I’ve been able to “reach beyond my grasp” with the help of the kind people of this forum. Many thanks to all of you!
Well, the dog doesn't complain, and dogs got fine ear..Edit: I posted the video to roughly offend those who refuse to learn.
Like the version with top cap tubes

4П10С, Soviet copies of VT127, based on Mazda Pen46 design. Civil version had no top cap, rarer screen grid, 6V filament, and called KT-66.
Something different for the picture gallery: My edelweiss-3 version with 6CB5A output tubes. They beat all other tubes that I tried in this amp.
Nice different picture, what did you used a thermal camera app? By the way how did you configure the 6CB5A tubes as a pentode or triode? All the best

Interesting, and thanks for sharing.

Seek Thermal camera has iPhone app. Pentode, with nested feedback loops. Gorgeous tube, one of the best for SE. Probably even the best one for up to 10W output power.

Can you please share the schematic of this amp with 6CB5A? I am really interested, I do not have your experience but so far I am been blow away by the use of vertical or horizontal deflection tubes and if I am not wrong this was used on color television's horizontal def....regards
