Finnaly i got around to building RJM simple tube phono pre.

http://www.geocities.com/rjm003.geo/rjmaudio/diy_pho1.html

Not a high end project.
But i thought it is a good start for me.
(never build a tube amp before)

It sounds very nice i have to say.
Not bad at all.
I do have some hum but thats do to the grounding and no shielding.
But gone build a nice case for it.
It's worth it.

Replace that half-wave rectifier with a bridge rectifier! It will certainly help your hum. Half-wave rectification is doubleplus ungood.

I did use a bridge rectifier. But thanks for the advice.
I think it hums because i didn't make a ground star.
It's just a test set up.

I'll try later today to improve the grounding.
And see where that leads me.
