More shopping help please - GE Combo 330
Still looking for a good restoration project to get my feet wet in tubes.
I went to check out an AM/FM Radio Phonograph (mono).
A tilt out radio in the console with a 33/45/78 phonograph on the side. Looked like a 12" speaker - but couldn't see any info on impedance on that.
65C7, 6TB, 6AU6, 6BA6, 6BA6, 6BE6, 5Y3GT and 6v6GT
Most all looked original - saw the 6v6GT for sure.
Inside info was a GE FM Radio Phonograph Combo 330.
Only power info I could get was for the supply - not the output.
120V, 60Hz, 85 Watt -- but that includes running everything including the phonograph...
Think I could make a nice mono amp for guitar practice from this?
I plugged it in - no sound - but all the tubes did light up.
Hopefully soon I'll bite and buy something so I can quite asking for all this type of advice and get more into the actual circuits. I just want to start with something that will be worth the work when done. Thanks!!
