Has anyone built a transformer coupled preamp?

I have the transformer compliments for the Diego Nardi WOT preamp (Sound Practices #10) and Jack Elliano's Ultrapath preamp (from Vacuum Tube Valley and from the Electra-print website).

I'm going to build these, but wanted to hear from people who have already tried the OT preamp designs. How did they compare with what you were using before? Any shielding issues for the transfomers?

Right now I'm using a Cary SLP-94 linestage with Jupiter & Auricap coupling caps.

Also, does anyone know whether the schematic of the Audio Note M3 preamp is posted anywhere?
