Hey im quite a beginner with tube amps.

i own a engl screamer 50 combo with the following specs:

50 watts classA
2x GL6GC matched set
1x 12ax7 FQ grade
2x 12ax7 selected
1x 12ax7 standard
celestian v80 speaker

Both the Gl6GC's are broken and im wondering how i go about replacing them..

am i best just buying the same model tube from groovetubes/sovtek or can you recommend something better? and will i need to rebias my amplifier?

thanks

Tube amps with adjustable bias need to be reset periodically, even if the O/P tubes are not replaced. Rebiasing is mandatory when the O/P tubes are replaced.

The "best" current production 6L6GC is the SED (Svetlana) made in the St. Petersburg (Russia) plant. The tubes are marked with a "flying C" logo. If you can't find a reliable UK or European source for the tubes, try Ned Carlson at Triode Electronics.
