I would look for a pair of 1940s vintage NOS Kenrad box plates, and they should cost considerably less.

I have learned a hard lesson about designing with modern single source, very expensive DHTs - in some instances they just are not that reliable. I think you can generalize this to more common types as well.

If you want to take a risk on a product made by a company that stakes its reputation on quality have a look at Linlai. I have no direct experience, but have friends who do.
 
I am reminded of a quote that I read in a tube audio magazine.
It went something like this:

"I never heard a bad 2A3 amplifier".

I too have heard several different 2A3 amplifiers of other person's designs over the decades, they all sounded good to me.

In 2A3 amplifiers that I designed (several single ended, and one push pull),
I have listened to at least 4 different manufacturer's 2A3 models. They all sounded good.
