the 13fm7 was U$1 back then....

AES (tubesandmore.com) is selling them for 4.9 $ no need to pay inflated prices.

Yeah, can certainly do better than $130/5 ( $26 a tube, and that's a 15% discount too)

Vacuumtubes..net lists:
6FM7 $4
6GF7 $5
6EA7, 6EM7 $10
13FM7 $3
13GF7 $4

6FJ7 $3

Back in the big tube sales days I got a box of 156 13FM7, and also a box of 156 13GF7 for $50 a box (quantity discounts). $0.32 per tube. I've been spoiled by $1 tubes and $0.50 tubes etc ever since.

But $70 for 2 6AL5s! Someone's smoking their laundry maybe.

One oddity however were new bulk packaged GE 6197 (6CL6 ) tubes from the same source about two years ago for $0.32 each (quantity sale price) Those turned out to be nice tubes.

6197 curves:

last pic is a 6FJ7 using the "new" series Schade local N Fdbk (CED, UnSET) to improve its triode curves
