The amp sounds great and no hum what so ever. I changed to a 3 wire plug and removed the .1uf cap on the primary side of transformer and did not install any safety caps. The final decision was due to invaderzim comment WARNING/HAZARD. The cap on the secondary tube filament side to ground is needed for the amp to function. I replaced that with an orange drop.
