350A Western Electric

Hi at all.

Somebody know if Western Electric 350A 350B and 807 are equivalent tubes ?

All are Beam Tetrodes.

Are they equivalent? No.

Are they somewhat similar? I suppose? A 350b is similar to a 6l6 which is similar to an 807. But there are some obvious differences between these tubes, and I would treat them as completely different tubes.

The 350a tube is new to me. From what I read on google the 350A seems to be a western electric version of the 807.

350A and 350B are apparently different.
The first is a transmission tube with slightly more power dissipation 30W
The second is a valve for general purpose with 25W power dissipation.

But i do not found the graphics with the curves.

They are not the same tube, But i can not find the curves from design the 350A.

How to know which point of operation would be optimal in UL mode?

According to this Western Electric data the 350A is similar to the 807 so you can follow the data on the 807 (and the similar 6L6 as long as Va is not too high) in UL mode.

350A has a filament current of 1.6A whereas the 807 is .9A
