Hello !

Among useful ECC83, EL84, EL34 and other tubes I found at work in an old laboratory cabinet belonging to a retired technician dozen of these tubes marked simple as "2Z". Unfortunately, good old friend and colleague is no more with us so I cannot ask him about it. Google search was not very helpful also.

What kind of tube we have here ? Is it kind of rectifier ? I am very grateful for any help. Best regards,
