• WARNING: Tube/Valve amplifiers use potentially LETHAL HIGH VOLTAGES.
Building, troubleshooting and testing of these amplifiers should only be

the safety precautions around high voltages.

I had an opportunity to collect anything I wanted from a closed radio repair shop.

Quite a haul. Good for you!

I would point out that a lot of those tubes have re-labeled boxes or notes like "good" on the box. Radio and TV repair service people often replaced tubes and put the old tube in the box or in whatever box they had. I'd expect most of those to be used tubes of questionable condition. Plenty to keep your new tube checker(s) busy! :)

Yes it was. Also, I've tested the Hickok 6000 and the scope and they both work perfectly. I may part with some of the other tube testers but the Hickok is staying with me for a while. I've got a bunch of radios to repair and I plan to build a couple new amp for myself. Rest assured, it'll go to good use.
