If you take the trouble to read more carefully, you will see that LEDs/Resistors array is connected between H1 and H2, supposedly heater voltage.

Some people like the glow of a blue LED under the valve.

Thanks for your replies and help, I didn't put the LEDs in and there's no room on the pcb to change anything ,not with my fat fingers anyway. I might try another brand of pcb . It's fun to find out all this stuff.
