• WARNING: Tube/Valve amplifiers use potentially LETHAL HIGH VOLTAGES.
Building, troubleshooting and testing of these amplifiers should only be

Who still offers tube amplifier kits?

triodeelectronics.com near chicago.
dynaco clones with US chassis & transformers. ST70 is stereo EL34 Mark III are mono. dynaco are hifi. Recommend the teflon wiring, cloth insulation wears out. My dynakit ST70 amp is 57 years old.
Also guitar amp kits (restricted bandwidth, filtering for coloring.)
Reason for teflon wire, my unit has required 4 electrolytic cap replacements. Also selenium rectifier to silicon diode conversion, plus a new potentiometer. Waving the soldering iron around burns insulation except teflon.

The diyAudio Store sells four tube amplifier kits, image below. Just scroll up to the top of this page, find the horizontal blue stripe with white lettering, and click on "diyAudio store"
