Mono-Block or Stereo Amplifiers?

20 year old lifts two stereo amplifiers in each hand
40 year old lifts one stereo amplifier in each hand
60 year old lifts one mono-block in each hand
70 year old does a two-hand lift of one mono-block . . . and has to have his hernia repaired.

If I get the time and energy, I will post my simple triode wired 6L6 push pull mono-block.

In any case, have fun designing, building, and listening!

didnt get much response here on the subject - just finished my blocks - faultless from switch on
I am contemplating beginning the same build you have just completed. Would you be willing to share photos of the wiring? I’m a little confused about how to connect the power transformer. Also I noticed there isn’t a volume pot. Can one be added or should volume be controlled elsewhere?

Both mono blocks function very well with specified FB circuits installed. I was not able to determine why I initially had issues with FB. The only significant change I made was to install a ground bus wire instead of multiple ground points on solder lugs.
If by chance you see this, I am curious if initially you were depending on the chassis for a ground circuit.
