Hello I am new to VFD tubes and i am trying to build a custom watch with one of these tubes with a light sensor but im having trouble finding a way to power these tubes in such a small build

I am looking for a way to power and control the DM-160 tube with a light sensor but i need to find a power supply first

The only problem i have using the A23s is the casing. I molded it off of a 2 inch prototyping board and its slightly larger than 2.15 inches. Although i could try to fit the A23s but itd be a very tight fit

Plus the dm160s i have i cant clearly distinguish the pins but i have found the filament leads but i dont know which one is anode or cathode

0,5mA is required for each VFD tube. Any low power rail-to-rail oscillator followed by a voltage multiplier will do the job. A single 3V coin cell, two smd transistors (or a low power oscillator chip), a few diodes and multilayer smd ceramic capacitors is all you need. A creative placement of the ground will provide the -3V bias.

The first is the tube, the second is a 3.7v lipo battery, and the third is 4 a23s combined.

The only problem im having is getting the grid to light up.
