C3m pentode driver vs D3a IT

Hi.
I would like to build a new 300B SET.
I have two options for driver:
1. C3m as pentode (Legacy Thorsten)
2. D3a triode straped - interstage transformer coupled to 300B

Which one will be better solution for driving 300B?

I doubt there is a definitive answer to this, it is pretty much down to subjective preference.

Why some people like the sound of 300B amps driven from most inappropriate drivers is mystery to me, yet they do.

i see two choices:

1. Interstage driven from a low Rp driver

Only if budget is tight:

2. cap driven from a low Rp, high current driver
