valve pre amp

hi i want to build a a basic 1 valve preamp. i got a old ferguison radiogram from the scrappers circa 1950-60 as a project thought i see what my guitar sounds like thru it got it working but
thing is it needs to driven thought i might wire in a basic vlave preamp

are there any sites out there with some pictorials etc on

i just realized, they first one is not even for preamp, but as a driver stage sorry about that

thx, are there any more details any where for this eg, tag board layout, complete circuit with jack in etc i have an electronics background but its first with valaves. thought this would be good to get started on. got all the info to do the AX84 and have read loads but its always nice tio have some pictorials to refer to.

for a line preampli, you can use a SRPP stage , it's the more linear I know....
