I got box of USSR mil tubes aprox. year 1964.
6S18S, GI-30, GU50, 5C8S

Are there any interest?
These tubes covering all my floor now, dunno to do.

Is there demand?

I was cleaning out a basement and found lot of these.
Dind't wanted to trow out, because i heard audiophiles are using various of these.

First i thougt i will make a list of all of them and put in this forum to check for demand.
I opened all boxes and its very hard to identify that tube is good or bad.

So question is:

1. Can somebody visualy confirm tubes is bad or ok? I can put varios pictures.

2. Does there ever will be demand to buy visual ok but not tested tubes and all at once?

Theres example:

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

A quick look at listings on eBay would confirm there is interest in these tubes.

No one can tell with certainty by looking at photographs that any given tube is good.

You would have to sell them untested.

If you want to sell them here this thread should be moved to swap meet. Report as Cal suggested and we'll move it.

So ugly getter or no getter doesnt mean tube is bad?
I thougt no getter= no vacuum

Am i correct that all of these 4 tubes in next pic can be good?

No, three of them are bad..

Hi USSR,
Yes, it the getter is white especially, air got into the tube so you have to be careful not to get cut. If there is no getter (silver area on inside of tube), Kevin's right, the tube is bad.
