Default Ruby Tuby at 24V?

I'm building this pre-amp. Yes, I know it's low voltage and won't sound like it would at full-voltage, but it sounds decent at 12V.

What I'd like to know, though is, I have a +/- 12VAC CT transformer. Could I run that circuit from +12 to -12 and just use the -12 where the circuit uses ground (except for PIN 5 of the 12AX7 which would go to the CT obviously, to keep the heaters at 12V).

Obviously I'd need to add a 7912 to regulate the -12VDC. I was thinking of something like this.
