I'm gonna build a pre-amp with the 01A or 483 with a MOSFET source follower as the output.... see any of the Alan Kimmel pages.....

run the tubes at the standard op point...unless there are "better" ones? and the SF at 50 mA.

Question is:

I want to use MV rectifers and VR tubes... maybe the 150v ones... recommendations?

should I limit the LC sections, choke input PS or what??????

Remember that I should get a VERY high PSRR for this circuit.

Finally, in the Alan Kimmel circuit, attached, can I replace Rp for a choke????

Thanks!!!
