So, my new Mouser catalog arrived today. Man, that baby has really bulked up in the past couple of years. Leafing through and I see... OUTPUT TRANSFORMERS. I can't remember seeing those in a mainstream electronics catalog for at least 25 years (I'll find that old Lafayette catalog one of these days).

The prices look pretty good, too. Hammond iron.

Hi,

What's next, Digikey stocking tubes?

Why not?

This is rather common practice with some major distributors in Europe for many years.

IIRC Velleman were one of the first to offer tube kits and spare tubes.
Others followed albeit it with a limited range of types.

The more the merrier if you'd ask me.

Cheers,;)
