OLD GOLD, or something I can dissassemble and use

So I've decided that I would like to make my own guitar tube amp. The problem is deciding if it's wise to dissassemble some old Magnavox CR 192 set that's been left outside to be weather for sometime. It's all there and is all vacuum tube from maybe 1930's or 1940's I'd say.

It has the amp, fm modulator, and another part that is a bunch of things packed into it, such as different frequency selections and speaker outputs. There are 3 seperate modules all together.

Everything is complete, but was left outside on a farm for sometime, but some modules still work when I plug them in. The big this is if you were to use any of it, you would need all three modules connected to each other for anything to happen or be useful. So far only the FM modulation module is the one that I can observe that is working.

Ultimately, what I'd like to know is if it is of any value to anyone because of it's condition and the fact that all the pieces are together. It's old technology, and looks bad(such that you can't read the numbers), but operates. I'm thinking a collector, or if I can sell it for any kind of amazing amount of money.

I'm also basing it off the fact that the materials could be used to build my own guitar tube amp, say something like a 10-5 watt class A Point to point AMp.

Thanks,

Magnvox

Hi, Here are some of the pictures, for the Magnavox Amp 108, CR 192, and CR 203. I forgot theres a four module, that dosen't seem to fit in with everything else, so it seems that I have an extra part? of some sort.

Here's also a link to Nostalgia Air, for each module you'll find a manual of information as well as schematics for it all.

for some reason it won't allow me to post pictures, apparently because of their size at the moment. I'll try to see what I can do.

I was just wondering if I could get some advice about which direction to go with the equipment though, whether I should us it to build a guitar tube amp. Or sell/give it to someone who would restore it, or if it has any collectors value.
