so it is just attached to the pin holding the radiator. You confirm ?

Shame on me , it slipped and bridged between the pin and the trace just underneath, making a bridge
I grabbed the max5437 and will replace. I hope nothing else was damaged.

You are very welcome. The red/white wire is connected to the heat sink anchor pin.
