Output Noise question

Hi,

I was wondering whether someone could give me some guidance - I am testing the first of my C3G/PX25 DRD monoblocks and currently have around 2.5-3.0 mV of hum on the output.

This level I can hear through my speakers from my sitting position.

There are a number of bits and pieces that I still need to implement in this monoblock, like screening the input wire and sorting out the star ground for the CLCLC supply.

The question that I have is what is a suitable noise level to aim for? 1.0mV? My speakers are around 97db/M.

Thanks in advance, Ian
