Either located internally or externally, you'd need a three position stereo switch, and the RCA sockets.
Isolate the RCA grounds from the chassis, and connect them to the audio ground.
The drawing shows one channel, two are needed for stereo. You can omit the volume control if it is not needed.

You can buy boxes like this already made up, if that is preferable. An example:
