Higher current will tend to saturate output transformers sooner would be the major drawback.

Thanks mike567. My OPTs are rated for 90mA, so does your comment still apply if I am talking about the difference between 56 and 63 mA? Not trying to be difficult - I actually just want to understand.

I was just point out the a downside of more current. I think you have plenty of margin.

If you were to use 60 ma transformers it MIGHT be a problem.
