Default is this an appropriate motor run capacitor for my Tubelab SSE ?

Dear all,

For my Tubelab SSE, I have ordered and received two 100uF/470V capacitors, marked from Mouser, part 80-C870CG36100AA0J. Looking at the connectors, no indication of polarity. As the capacitor is MKP and marked for 470VAC, the product description mention "motor run capacitor". I guess that's ok for my usage, and I can use either direction to connect it, or should I expect a loud bang ?

Thx!
Charles

This part is a good choice for the supplemental cap. It is a polypropylene cap and therefore has no polarity. It does not matter which wire goes where since these things were made for direct connection to AC mains voltage.

Thx Georges ! I wonder if you sleep as well. Always here to help ;-)
I like its large M12 screw to have it inside the case, bolted to an angled profile. Enough iron on the top with 3 transformers and one choke.
