Rod Stewart reveals his epic model railway city

It's such a quintessentially British hobby. And he's done a brilliant job of it.

I've sometimes wondered what famous people do in their spare time. I know there are a few actor > musicians, musician/actor > painters, needlecrafts etc.

Do you think any of the people we read about in entertainment pages etc. are at are home sniffing solder as they put together an ACA?

...Rod Stewart reveals his epic model railway city

That's amazing.

Neil Young does model trains; he recently sold-off some gear (also amps and a car) to benefit the Bridge School in California.

He's also been invested in Lionel, sold/brokered them some digital control(*), and consulted.

Pete Waterman (of Stock, Aitken & Waterman fame) is also an inveterate model railway and all round train enthusiast.
