A cryogenically treated resistor would have been betterso tungston speaker cables were used so that the system was matched.
Thus it was not a technical data. Its just hi fi snobbery and audiophoolery.
I think I hear an echo.

Excuse me, but my steaks burnt in for 4 minutes on each side in on a charcoal fire, over an iron grill, taste much better than just out of the box, as sold. The rest of the usual burn in etc. remains nonsense that will never go away, but you knew that.
Just do not burn them in too much or they dry up .
a charcoal fire
Is it still called a fire if there are no flames?
Seriously, does anyone have anything further to say on this subject? I am happy to put this one to pasture if we agree.
Before you close this thread, could I abuse it to ask Dave (planet10) to go over to the following thread where his input would be much appreciated?

Try it, it might work, speaker wire is very system dependent.
I forgot to mention copper has an ~3000ppm/C TC so cooling your room 15C (chilly yes) will have the same effect. You keep mixing this cryo etc. nonsense in with discussion of well known issues with high impedance amps and difficult speaker loads.
