Teamviewer... They make arbitrary decisions about what is commercial - they disallowed it on one personal machine as "the spec was too high"!!, but I stopped using it altogether after an upgrade when I started getting lots of weird messages through in the chat panel. Not uncommon it turned out after some googling, but they just denied it. Definitely some security issues.
Software (or anything else) supported by advertising is not free. You pay for it when you buy the advertised product, as part of the price you pay goes into the marketing budget. As someone once said "If you don't have to pay for the product, then in fact you are the product".
