Whats the LAST movie you have watched?

.. dark emo diaster fantasy slash superhero movie ...

Hollywood does that with most sequels. That sentence applies just as well the How to Train your Dragon 2. Episode 3 will probably star Christian Bale. It's the only gear in their moto.

Last movie I watched was the curiously well-received Blade Runner 2049. It wasn't terrible so much as meandering and pointless. Also an obvious launchpad for a franchise.

I'm currently watching Star Trek DS9 on dvd that is hooked up to a vintage tv set and an inbuilt mono speaker. As far as I'm concerned the audio and video quality is the best I've ever heard despite watching the same material on a big screen brand new Panasonic LCD tv set. Probably because I grew up watching tv on this type of television in this type of aspect ratio, but I suppose its also because the color range of a CRT is better than LCD, and also because the dvd player plays all frames correctly in an interlaced format which reproduces the original framerate perfectly.

Currently putting disney star wars rogue one back into fresh cat litter its kk disney.

Michael - I thought the same thing about the Raiders franchise, and everything after the second Alien.

Stumbled across a rather treacly confection this weekend - The Shack.

I'm not a religious person, but after numerous close medical calls and passings amongst my immediate family and circle of friends over the past year and half, the earnest uplift was welcome - albeit short-lived.

Andy - enough with the litterbox, OK?

blade runner laserdisc worst dolby stereo film load of rubbish I ever watched goes in the cat litter. I guess blade runner 2 will be another crap bluray disc for the cat litter and 4k for the cat litter and dolby atmos for the cat litter.

Batman vs Superman dawn of dire.

It was dreadful. Sound mix was boring hardly any serious use of directional dialouge panning on all 7 directional channels left me feeling like it was a mono mix.

This bluray is fit for the cat litter box.

Ya know the best way to get revenge on these movies is to clean those blurays up and resell them on ebay. Then start a campaign online or donate to a campaign to get JJ Abrams thrown out of hollywood.

You won't do much preaching to this community, you need a larger audience.

Only manged to watch less than minute of each these bluray format discs. picture dire and hollywood sound mixers was just crap sound mixing had to throw these crap movies into the cat litter.

I will disagree on The Martian. In 3D is is wonderful for the panorama views of mars.

+1 - saw this at IMax screen last year, and thought that the big screen and nicely understated 3D and CGI - possibly Ridley's most restrained use of those tools within recent memory? - really enforced the sense of desolation, and I can't be the only one who left the theatre thirsty

I also hafta add that I was very pleasantly surprised at the Mad Max - even though I watched that at home on a little 70in screen. A helluva piece of film-making, with I understand far less CGI than you'd think.
