Default pure crystal oxygen free copper cables vs just oxygen free copper cables?

Hello there. I am just wondering if there is a difference in sound between the pure crystal oxygen free copper cables vs just the oxygen free cables? Now how about silver plated crystal oxygen free copper cables? Just wanted to see what diyers thought and is it worth it? Or just a technical term to scam with nonsense snake oil rubbish talking? Mr. Daniel

And a price hike!
Best solid core wires I've found is Twin & Earth / 1.5mm dia @ 0.25 a meter - 0.00 if I get it from a sparky
Best bit is, if its from a sparky, it's already been run in

Best stranded..... Might be a Dyson Vacuum Cleaner cord, sure looks good with is slightly metallic grey outer casing - it could be claimed that bit of wire cost 300
Or maybe the 25yr old Black & Decker extension lead that materialised in my abode from my parents garage clearing effort, grass stains and all!
Wonder what 25yrs worth of running in would cost?

Have tried silver plated something like monster cable and listened A-B with copper only monster and heard no difference.

Have tried solid silver as well, single strand, litz and multi and some agree with my ear and some don't.

Would like to try some of the fancy 'carbon' 'wires', but cant find no one willing to lend me a set.

As ALWAYS, these things are a matter of system synergy.

I did a surveillance system job which had long leads to cameras.
I did a study of different wires and their resistance varied vastly.
We went for the lowest loss cable in the end.

I agree with Dyson cord.
I made up my cables 30 years ago and had to buy the cord by the yard as they never sold the stuff metric in those days.
Dyson cord is always in good condition too at the cleaners are pretty short lived and can be found by the side of roads quite often.
It is free.

Just My thoughts,

I don't like OF cable...Mud comes to mind..

LCOF or standard copper..is better...

Now your going to ask stranded or single core..

I find your tone offensive.

You obviously have an opinion and an ego to match.
We all have a right to express what we think.
You obviously need to grow up!

I will also ask why the moderators allow words containing S**T to be posted on the forum!

The only parameter that matters for speaker cord is resistance. Lower the better. Just get heavy gauge power cord and use that for your speakers.
