Pate here. A small sautéed in olive oil lamb liver, two sticks of butter, a small bit of sweet onion, parsley and a dollop of brandy. Run through a hand cranked meat grinder twice.

Seems my phone can spell sautéed but not pate!

Heard nothing from Cal Weldon for several weeks, he is usually a prolific poster, I hope those very unhealthy recipes of his have not come back to bite him?

We talked about Cal a page or two back, Ed Simon checked in and Cal's just taking a break. Well deserved.

Harvested and cooked up a bunch of Okinawan Sweet Potato yesterday and the day before. Tasted great with a little butter but even on its own it wasn't overpowering at all, in fact it tasted much like an ordinary potato and I rather appreciated the taste. I replanted some of the roots and placed the boxes that I grow them in in a different location where they can get more sunlight. I'm hoping to increase my harvest rates.

I like the white-fleshed sweet potatoes, they taste like a cross between regular potato and chestnuts to me.

The orange-fleshed sweet potatoes are way too sweet to eat and watery with it.
