Default finally got round to swapping them out

Finally got round to swapping the 10 X 2SK170BL out for the 2 X 2SK209GR on adapters 4 matched and 6 un matched
Works very good and the dc off set is lower than the 2sk170bl's so it looks like a better matched quad
sounds really good indeed

Very nice. Congratulations. Did you find the Peak test socket practical enough?

Hi Salas

Happy New Year

Yes its a bit fiddly at first but i soon got the hang of it with a pair of tweezers
and a big magnifying glass

i let the fets warm up for 30 seconds then tested with 10v 100R sorted into idss groups
then soldered onto sot23 adapters then tested again with 10v 100R on breadboard 10 at a time
again once set up power on then leave them for a few minutes then measure the voltage across 100R
then ran the trace on the dca 75 a bit of a faf but worth it

would be quicker with 10x sot23 test sockets on veroboard but i cant find any and the peak ones are 20 a pop !
