Need a heatsink for that 300W/ch class A amp? Something smaller, perhaps? I think I can accomodate you...
I have decided to disperse my collection of heatsinks to those who will put them to use sooner than I ever will. The following messages will feature one heatsink's photo, description, and price. There will be at least six heatsinks listed, maybe more, depending on my mood, and what else I manage to dig out of storage...
I will accept postal money orders or paypal. Shipment will occur within
2 business days of receipt of payment. Shipment will be by UPS ground only.
email with questions.... rehorstmarkatnetscapedotnet (you know how to fix the address...).
Thank you.

Let's get a little bigger...
Identical pair (yes, two of these, to be sold together)
Dimensions: 11 13/16" long x 4 5/8" wide x 4 1/2" high.
9 fins are 11 13/16" long x 2 5/8" high x 3/16" tapering to 1/16" wide.
Finish: raw aluminum, unanodized.
The base where the fins originate is approx. 5/8" thick. It is predrilled to accomodate 16 TO-220 transistors. The flat area on the base between the two TO- mounting rails is approx. 3 7/8" wide x 11 13/16" long.
There are two, 1/4" thick rails predrilled to mount a total of 16 TO-3 transistors. The rails stand approx 1 1/4" above the base.
These two are sold as a set with hardware to connect the two as a tunnel and mount a standard fan at one end.
Weight of the pair with included hardware is 15 lbs.

gengis said:Heat sink #5:
Extrusion or Welded?
The fins are too tall, thin, and too closely spaced for an extrusion.
It is a "swaged" fin type. The fins are press fit into grooves cut in the top and bottom plates and it all appears to be held together with epoxy.
You can see the grooves in the bottom plate at the end of the heatsink.
