Sort of “Vintage” PCM63 DAC board; CS8414 receiver, SM5813 filter, PCM63P DAC. 36 main smoothing capacitors, 8 discrete and LT regulators, IMHO overall assembled correct and with with quality material, Sanyo, Elna, Phillips, Dale…
Large, 200x175mm board.
The board is DIGITAL ONLY, no analog output section, only PCM63 direct analog outputs. Ready for some quality analog output stage, discrete, op-amp, tube…. I have tested it with my own AD797 analog board, (small proto-board on photo..) IMHO works as it should, great.
However, after collecting dust for over a year in my closet..
Asking for 120 USD + SHIPPING for the main board.
If someone also wants my analog output section..it can be arranged.

Regards

It’s a simple op-amp analog section, taken from those schematics. First stage AD797, output stage OPA627. I don’t have schematics for main PCM63 board, but it is pretty standard. And, as wrote, it is working, no debugging or anything needed there. Just hook up mains transformer and SPDIF. Can be used with all PCM63 output configurations; transformers, valve, discrete, op-amps….

Regards

P.S. Still, probably not a job for a beginner, neither to get some cost effective DAC. You need three transformers just to get digital board running. IMHO, mostly suitable for some nice exotic analog output stage. Will leave it here for a few days …and then probably finish it myself after all…
