FS: Samson SX2800 2ch pro amplifier (cheap!!!)

For sale is a 2 ch pro amplifier of very high output that I used for powering my high efficiency subwoofers. Audiogon 7/10 for a few scratches on the top panel. $OLD in the continental USA, PayPal F&F. Unit is double boxed and works perfectly. This is a pro amplifier, and it does have low velocity fans, so keep that in mind. For a separate rack, it is an excellent unit.

The Samson SX2800 stereo power amplifier has been designed to provide robust, clean output with low distortion and wide dynamic range, along with the dependability demanded by professional audio engineers and installers.The convenient two rackspace design is compact, and yet there's plenty of power available, with 2 x 700 watts at 8 ohms and 2 x 900 watts at 4 ohms.For mono applications, a bridged mode links both channels of the amplifiers, thus providing even more power, with a power rating of 1800 watts for the SX2800 into an 8 ohm load.Input connections are made via combination connectors allowing for both balanced XLR and balanced 1/4" TRS connections. For the outputs, the SX2800 amplifier provides standard 5-way binding posts, as well as Speakon™ connectors.
