A former tenant has left a box with almost complete parts of a Yamaha A1 amplifier in the cellar. This amp is obviously a very nice piece of vintage audio gear. The heat sinks, all the knobs, tone controls and the MC-amp with the volume control pot are the only parts missing. The preamp board and the board holding the main capacitors show signs of repair.
Front with functioning movable parts and the rest of the enclosure is also available, everything in very good condition. A copy of the service manual was also in the box.
So here is the deal. I would like see these parts being used to salvage other Yamaha A1 amps. You only have to pay the paypal fee, shipment and a 10$ donation for diyaudio.com.
