Four Tangband 8" neo subwoofers, model W8-1363SB, $50/each or $90/pair or $160/four plus shipping. Used in a low-tuned vented box of about .75 to 1 cubic feet, gentle initial slope to rolloff over most of bass region is the approximate inverse of room gain, resulting in more balanced in-room response. Two ultra high power handling Ciare 12" prosound subwoofer drivers, model 12.00SW, 4 OHM VERSION. Fs = 44 Hz; Qts = .38; Qes = .40; Vas = 32 liters, Xmax = 11.5mm; program power = 2000 watts(!). In a 2 -2.4 cubic foot low-tuned vented box, the gentle initial slope to the rolloff over most of the bass region is the approximate inverse of room gain, resulting in blanced in-room response.
