Mike, I think this sub will be a nice little project, the sound will be not bad at all. I have a vent calculator on my website if you want to try that. I'd suggest trying a 63mm vent and seeing if that is OK.

I used Pd=250mm (which translates into 490.87 sq cm) and Xmax=4.24mm, so if you use these for the vent designer see if it says it's OK.

Hello Rich,

I think I'm doing something wrong, as ever!
I've tried different numbers, it tells me vent diameter too small. I tried 20cm.

By the way, is that picture of the man on your website, you??

Mike, I'll have a look tonight. I can't access my exe files from work. It's possible the program asks for Sd in sq m not sq cm. 490.87 sq cm is 0.049087 sq m.

My communications are a wired device made by some dude yonks ago, Bell I think his name. I've got a flip open startrek like gadget, that has brain destroying stuff coming outta its ariel, when you stick it by your head and talk. email for snails on wheels and snail mail. I could go for MSN messenger at a push, by the way, what's ICQ?

I was just wondering if when you measured the T/S parameters for this drive unit, if you got the 'may not be accurate' warning, or if everything was OK?
