Apologies if this has been asked before; but did you get a chance to equalised them to the frequency response and match the SPLs when doing the comparisons? Or just having fun and swapping the drivers in and out of the same cabinet?
I find the cabinet makes such a difference, and may suit one driver better than another. As well as the room one driver/box better an another.
I have a TC Sounds LMS-R 15” and it is scary good. Not 12”, but works well in 2 cu foot… sadly discontinued
