Ported sub with dual 12" drivers - build pics

Hey guys,

I started building a ported sub with two 12" drivers for my HT.
It is just half way through, see the attached pics. Will post some more pics as i progress.

Looks awesome! Nice bracing! What drivers are you using? Looking forward to seeing this one progress

I added one more set of small bracing, connecting the existing bracing.
Coming to the drivers they are 12" 200W drivers made by an Indian OEM.
They export drivers to some well known brands as far as I know.

I will post the finished sub pics in few days ...
 
well... as per simulation, this sub should give the following output:

This has F3 around 31Hz, F6 around 27Hz and F10 around 22Hz.
With 400w power it is expected to deliver 114db@31Hz, 111db@27Hz and 106db@22 hz.

Simulation graph is nearly flat and has a smooth rolloff. Group delay and vent air velocity etc are decent.
Actual performance has to be measured.

Nice! Regarding the actual permance, biggest contributor there will be the room you intend to play it in.
