So I need another sub quick.... Time money and weather are not on my side.
So I'm rehousing and old sub driver I have lying around and a pile of pre cut birch!. Most of it is 16" wide originally for a Bjorno TL that never got built.

Since the dumbest question is the one that's not asked.......
This cab will be reused later after I build 2-4 Micromartys to sit under a powered 15 cab crossed over at about 63-70hz, as an electronic drum sub cab at home and stage.
Does it matter where I put the driver as I would like to mount it on the top of the cab face rather than the bottom, for nearfield use with a full range on top? (silly me concerned about standing waves...:))

Second question.... I have 3 build options. Due to the 16" width the port will be increased to 2" high instead of 1.5.
Options are: (port volume subtracted from cu ft calculation already)

33.5x 17.25 x18"D 4.08 cu ft (same as micromarty)
31.5x 17.25 x 21"D 4.08 cu ft (same as micromarty)
OR: 41.25 x 17.5x18D 4.58cu ft (do I need to increase port length?)

I can make the 3rd option a little deeper if It would lower extension a tad.
The taller ones would fit in a corner nicely so I'm leaning toward those.
Eventually It will get a dayton or perhaps an acceptable lower powered
sub driver for home drum use.

Thanks a million for your direction....
