I have a Klipsch synergy 10 with a burnt out amp.I have a Fostex 600 power amp that is surplus to my needs right now.What issues do I need to be aware of in using the Fostex to drive this sub.It will be fed from a Yamaha HTR5990 sub output. I hope to extend the bass output of a stereo system that is using Yamaha NS690 series 2 speakers. Is the crossover in the Yamaha HTR good enough?I can run the Fostex in stereo or bridged mode.Any suggestions are welcome.Thks
You might have them connected by now. Be careful with the power, use the Fostex amp with moderate power output. Post your results.

I would use a more effective/proportional amp to the speakers they are going to drive.
