I just found Easy Horn (Eazy Horn) and tried it a few times but can't seem to get good results out of it. It look(ed) to be a good idea, but not updated for a few years. Does this tool work? Tutorials? Anything better out there? After my humbling Ijit Mark I failed build ("planning-free"), I am learning the wisdom to simulate first

don't see why not.
IIRC it's designed to only provide a starting point to 'slide' your way to what you want/think/believe is an acceptable alignment in HR's Loudspeaker Wizard, so if it happens to provide a good one initially I imagine it's strictly a coincidence. I see Soho still lurks, so maybe he will chime in. GM

After some more fiddling I figured out that horns will simulate better if I specify less than a 30x compression ratio
