Simpelstark+ V1.3

It's finally done! Finished! 😁

This is my home DIY build of the Virtual Zero Audio's Simpelstark+ V1.3. Power rating - 100W per channel. Deliciously natural sound - thanks to pretty unique topology and ODNF error correction. Dead silent on idle - no signs of any hum or hiss - just nothing.

I performed some burn-in, playing different kinds of music for half a day this afternoon. I've got only a pair of small Monitor Audio RS-1 shelf speakers in my lab, however, even this minimalist configuration sounds great. It runs pretty warm regardless of the listening volume.

This is a 100% dual mono configuration with separate grounds and virtually no crosstalk.

The amplifier is controlled by the digital control board (21-st century board successor), providing soft-start and protection, two separate PSUs with controlled rails, two temperature sensors and SS speaker relays (8 high-current MOSFETs are used in SS relays in total).

Perfect power amp for a home audio system!

For those who are interested - kits are available at Virtual Zero Audio Store.
